What is Swiss WebBD?

As brief as can be it, it's my end of the year school project for my Master in Information Science.

If I may elaborate, please view this website as my attempt to give Swiss Artists a place to showcase their art without fear of data mining. The internet landscape seems more avalanche-prone with each passing season, and while publishing online seems easy enough, living from it is near impossible for oh so many artists. And yet, here they are, still posting, still working, doing their best.
When generating images has never been easier, creating art is an act of rebellion.
So if you're out here, beginners or professionals alike are welcome on this website. Just be Swiss, live in Switzerland, or have content related to Switzerland*. This website is and will stay free for as long as it is standing.
And if you can, do check the links associated to the Artists' shops when they have one.

This website will have at least two phases: the first one, barebones, which is to be done before August 15th. After which it'll be subjected to an examination until October and stay in statis. I'll probably need a little bit to recuperate (not to mention job hunt), but thereafter will begin the second phase: automation and amelioration!
I'd like to be able to code a script notifying the website of new posts from the artists, so that it can be updated accordingly (or even update automatically). Until then, manually it is.
